There's a blue skinned man, wears black like a watch wears time. He lives behind my mirror in the room that looks like man. His sad sandy voice pours like syrup from a tin. I've seen him every day, yet can't recall his moving in. He lifts my wallet, buys me drinks at every bar. I'm never running dry and I'm always one too far. He kicks my heels as I stagger through the dark, He'll wake me in the morning with it ain't too soon to start. In my pocket I once kept a wooden cross, when I reach to find it now, well all I find is rocks. There's new shoes on the table top and I know who's to blame. Yes, Blue Skin is thirsty and he knows I'll play the game. Blue skin man wears black like a watch wears time, lives behind my mirror in the room that looks like mine. His sad sandy voice pours like syrup from a tin, I've seen him every day yet can't recall his moving in. He won't leave me be till we two are intertwined. But, this is my body and the same goes for my mind. Oh yes, this is my body and the same goes for my mind.

Dregs of whiskey from the night before, And three grams of speed are all that's keeping him off the floor. But like Dylan said, he'll just keep on keeping on. He wasn't gonna stop 'till his body was good as gone. [Chorus] Porcelain bones are making him slow, Losing his mind on that couch gettin' stoned. Whatever happened to the man from years ago? Was he left behind when he got those porcelain bones... Watching darts fly down those golden lines, Pushing through leaves constructed in his mind. Those 12 hour journeys he didn't want to end, But he ran out of money to borrow from any more friends. [Chorus] Porcelain bones are making him slow, Losing his mind on that couch gettin' stoned. Whatever happened to the man from years ago? Was he left behind when he got those porcelain bones... Just a shadow of the man he used to be, But a shadow can still dance and dancing something free. Though he was destroyed, he was not defeated, With Hemmingway's hand he wrote his stories of mistreatment. He settled down, had a daughter and a son. Looks like he's the man I am bound to become. [Chorus] Porcelain bones will make me slow, I'll lose my mind on that couch getting stoned. Am I the man he was those years ago? Will I be left behind when I get my porcelain bones...

Hey babe, come out and meet the night, Here we go into the glow of the warm street lights. Take not of the furthest thing in sight, That is where we're headed girl, I don't know why but it just feels right. We must be sure that our first steps are bold, For hesitation and contemplation won't change what the night has to hold. Lets find the tales that are ours to be told, And hope wherever we end up tonight, Well, it ain't too cold. [Chorus] So cast away bad thoughts that could be had, A night together forgetting that thing called sad, And I don't care for the where, the when or the why, So long as you're around me girl, I know that I'll be having a good time. Drinks flow and we dance without a care, Watching people pass on their way to who knows where, They say, you two seem a charming pair, We smile and say we'd love to stay, But music is calling us over there. [Chorus] So cast away bad thoughts that could be had, A night together forgetting that thing called sad, And I don't care for the where, the when or the why, So long as you're around me girl, I know that I'll be having a good time. We hear dawns chorus start to sing, The birds are here to make it clear an end has come to this fling. Tonight's tired, it's brought all it could bring, It's a good thing that tomorrow, Will always be waiting in the wings. [Chorus] So cast away bad thoughts that could be had, A night together forgetting that thing called sad, And I don't care for the where, the when or the why, So long as you're around me girl, I know that I'll be having a good time.

Ah your feet are pointing forward, Well, they always faced that way. Steering you towards, Sunny day after day. Sorry that I'm leaving, What we had is going 'way. But, look ahead all you got are sunny days. [Chorus] Oh and you don't need me, To be going where you're going babe. Oh and you don't need me, To show ya what you don't need showin' babe. Doo, doo, dobedadooda, etc... Well now you ain't the bumble bee, Just sitting in the shade. Despite four good reasons, To up and fly away. You ain't the chair, With four legs sitting still. No, you just got the two, And they'll take you where they will. [Chorus] Oh and you don't need me, To be going where you're going babe. Oh and you don't need me, To show ya what you don't need showin' babe. Honey sorry, I'm the fool who stops at go. I won't collect 200 pounds, And I'll just sit here all alone, On my pile of excuses, As to why I've not got going. So take the quick route round, Hope I'll see ya down the road. [Chorus] Oh and you don't need me, To be going where you're going babe. Oh and you don't need me, To show ya what you don't need showin' babe.

about

Morgan used both his hand to make this, his very first EP. I think it really shows.
